This is the first of a series of tarot card LightBoxes that will be created in the coming months! The fifteenth card of the Major Arcana is where I began, The Devil. In this rendition, Pan’s silhouette is shown against a backdrop of the forested mountains. He was chosen because he is god of the wild, but also a representation of the Other. The Devil in the tarot represents these qualities, along with giving in to physical and material desires, to which Pan is also associated.
This shadow box can hang with a screw hook, or be placed on any flat surface. The LED lights are remote operated and are multi-function, so you can enjoy this piece with your favorite or changing color.
