Our Process
We keep it simple from start to finish. You want a website; we listen to your needs, then we deliver what is right for you.
1. Schedule a Free Web Design Consultation
Head over to our scheduling page and select a time that works for you and provide us with your choice method of contact. Be sure to confirm your booking through checkout.
2. Next, we’ll talk about your goals for your online presence and how we can build an experience for your clients that will deliver results.
The Divergent.Design team will be in touch on the date and time you booked. During our discovery call we will look over what you already have and talk about how we can tailor a web experience for your clients. Our team will look at your goals and build an easy-to-navigate experience around them. We will also touch on your email, software, and hosting needs so we can deliver the custom web solution your practice or business needs and nothing more.
3. If we decide to work together, our team will create a proposal and send it to you.
At the end of the call, you can decide if you would like to see a project proposal with full details and a plan. If you need a few days to think it over, we won’t pressure you a bit. You can get back to us when you are ready.
Proposals will take 5-10 business days to create and will include complete pricing information, clearly labeled necessary and optional services, front page mockups with your current branding, and definitive lead times.
4. After the proposal is accepted, we will have a planning session where we discuss content needs, design, and more.
This is the fun part! During our first planning session, our team will get to know more about your voice and discuss how we can reflect that in the appearance of your website. After we talk about looks, we’ll learn more about your users to gather the content they will need to reach your end goal. Last, but certainly not least: branding. Our lead designer will go over how we will make your brand consistent and recognizable across the web.
5. Our team will begin setting up your services and building your website!
The Divergent.Design team will work their magic behind the scenes and build the basic parts of your website. After the homepage is completed, we will schedule a second planning session.
6. We will have a second planning session where we can look over styling, assess content, and make changes.
Since we will have live previews to work with, during the second planning session we will finalize the appearance of your site while we look at what content your users will need to meet your goals. This is the time we will make any necessary changes to the website structure, fonts, imagery, etc.
7. Once we have the entire site built, there will be a final planning session where our team will make the last small edits before your launch.
Time to see the final product! Our team will share the full site with your team during this session and review the content before a final proofing. Afterward, we will put the finishing touches on your website and prepare it for launch.
8. Prepare for liftoff! 🚀
